The Bulletin itself is very clear that on certain Silverado and Sierra 1500 New vehicles may experience a Malfunction Indicator Lamp(MIL)and transmission shift quality may be impacted. Dealers are to replace the Transmission Control Module part number 24049788 and reprogram. This cover 8 speed and 10 speed transmission but not all vehicles. Your dealership can tell you if yours is cover under this bulletin…..
