I agree with Ninja_Johonny, we need to keep this topic in the forefront. This is very important to buyers of GM trucks because they cannot seem to deliver what is a normal business function. Please don’t slam me for this post or tell me to buy another truck. Her is my pain in the but with GM.
Placed order for 2023 1500 Danali Ultimate on Nov 2nd, 2022, to be built Feb 13th. Great. Build date moved to mid-March and got move again to mid-April, Dealer tells me date got moved to be built again to May 15th, 2023, and should be delivered middle of June. I see tons of 2023 1500s. on the lots in lower trims and wondering why it takes 6 months supposedly to get a higher trim truck built? Maybe Management at GM needs to look at how this company could be more efficient at producing trucks. we have all heard the BS of supply shortages and as consumers and company owners we have all worked through all that and a giant like GM cannot get it done? The consumers want to buy your products, as a public company the shareholders expect management to do their jobs. The parts dilemma is just as ridicules as the production side of GM. You know you have an injector problem, just take care of the problem and your customers. Thanks for listening and keep this portion of the Forum going, maybe Management should read some of these and see how great of a job they are doing running this company.
