Longbeds, The production pause was only affecting the Fort Wayne plant and didn’t start until later this month I thought. Or at least that’s what I read last week.
J_Nerdllaw, did you receive the actual confirmation of GM accepting your order? I was told 6-12 weeks wait time, but I assumed it was from order acceptance. It was nearly 2 months before my order was accepted so I started the wait time at acceptance date. Today starts my 11th week of waiting & I was told earlier this morning my truck is still waiting to be loaded onto the rail car. Once your vehicle is produced, the chat bot on the Chevy site becomes worthless as it will tell you to check with your dealer on delivery status. This will be the 5th vehicle I’ve purchased from my dealer & they have been very informative during this wait time. It helps too that I have a good friend who works for the dealer I ordered from & he has told me from the very beginning they are fighting issues with logistics.
