kovach, I am in the same situation. My truck was built in Mexico 10/18/ 22, sat there until 1/3/22, then moved by rail to Shreveport, LA and arrived 1/11/23. Through my research, storage yards hold vehicles for up to 30 days free of charge to the automakers and anything beyond that, they can charge a storage fee of around $35/ day. Hopefully the automakers clamp down on this…My truck is still in Louisiana and today is 2/28/23…Multiply that by the thousands of sitting vehicles sitting in storage lots across the country, then the long delays start to make sense.
