Thanks Parts Man1. I have followed you on some other threads so you may recognize my name. Just some info for anyone interested, I have been in contact with a class action attorney, they feel that we may have a case against GM in so far as they are installing chips in new vehicles and not fulfilling current obligations which may be against the law. GMs loophole is that they have given a credit for the missing chips, (Albeit a small one) but the attorneys feel it is so small that it does not account for the, and I hate to use the term, “pain and suffering”. This is an expensive and somewhat complicated process and will take a lot of time but as someone who has been a frustrated GM customer for over 45 years I am fed up.

I took delivery last February, almost a full year, and am still waiting on the parking sensors and heated steering wheel.
