Glad I’m not the only one that thinks that. I was ready to build, order, and w-a-i-t for maybe a year for a 2023 – until I saw THOSE wheels.
Everyone has different taste, some will HATE them, some will like them, others simply won’t care. Others will just order the 2022 wheels and get them installed. Swapping out factory wheels is probably done often and not a big deal to those that have done it before and are comfortable spending the extra money.
They’re still available and will be for some time since they can be ordered on the 2023 Silverado too. I even found some on eBay.
But, now I’m just stepping down to a regular Denali. Still a nice truck, a little less expense, with fewer gizmo’s to break in 5 years. I just built out a 2023 tonight and the proper wheels were still available for that model. GMC – I get it – HAS to have the Ultimate stand out in the crowd. Well, they certainly did that with the 2023. #uglyduckling
The only thing so far (that I really wanted) from the Ultimate was that Vader grille. If it will “fit” a regular Denali and I can find one, I will get it. I liked shiny chrome when I was young, not as much now 🙂 The “dark” theme is something I’m fond of and they did an outstanding job with that grille and GMC emblem. To me, the wheels and that grille were the icing on the cake.
If I do order a 2023 Denali, then shortly AFTER that GMC will likely see the problem they created and offer the proper wheels. #myluck
