Irish02, based on what you ordered, there could be a few different things holding up your allocation… Tech Package, Convenience II package and the multiflex tailgate have all been problematic. If you ordered a longbed, that’s even more problematic. That said, your dealership should be able to tell you what’s in constraint for your build. Additionally, if you placed your order in February for a 2022, that order would’ve been cancelled and replaced by an order for the 2023 model year. Has the dealership mentioned any of this? Have they shared with you your preliminary order number (actually 6 letters)?
Here’s my suggestion… because it’s what I did.

1) If you have an order number, go to chevrolet.com and start a chat session. Type “advisor” to get to a live agent and skip the virtual BS. It’s a crap shoot with who you’ll get and some are better than others, but they might be able to tell you something… that’s if your order was accepted by GM.

2) Call the Chevy Customer Assistance Center at 800-222-1020. This will also require that you know your order number.

3) If all else fails, send an e-mail to Mary Barra ([email protected]). She might be the CEO, but she’s still a person just like you or me. Be cordial and explain your situation and within a week or so, you’ll probably be contacted by someone on the executive resolution team to review your case. At least that was my experience and I believe it helped.

Also, if you’re thinking the grass is greener on the Ford side, check out the news link from earlier today…
