My dealer told me last week that GM plans to have all orders delivered by end of October. GM is having to use cargo ships to get the trucks from Mexico then to the closet ports of destination. The ships due to the issues at the border and trains are taking to long to pass through. My truck was ordered in December 2021, built in June 2022, and was “shipped” in the beginning of September.
My father in law has been waiting since February 2022 for his Ford truck and has been getting the issues we have been with GM. His 2022 model is about to become a 2023 model.
