The VIN should be available withing a couple days of production. GM puts the vehicle automatically up on the selling dealers website once it is built and ready for transport. Your dealer may very well take it down so they aren’t inundated with calls on it since it is sold, my dealer did that with mine but I spotted it before they did and got the VIN and print out of window sticker. Even if dealer takes it down they will still have access to it and can give you the VIN and dealer can also track its shipment using VIN view once it is in transit. If they continue to say they can’t get the VIN then it is a good chance it is not built.
