Related to this topic. Can anybody suggest to me why on this late date of October 2014 GM does not promote Eco Tec 3 engines and drive train options as being available for order on any of their 2015 pick up trucks ? Is this simply and inventory issue with excessive older Gen 4 V-8 engine stock or a deeper issue with design and production ramp up of Eco Tec3 L86’s ?
Maybe we have a secret member from the North Tonawanda, NY engine plant that can give an anonymous answer.
