I have been following the posts for 2500 HD orders with great interest because I, have a 2022 2500 HD Duramax on order. On October 28, 2021, The Order WorkBench Document reflects my order is 43 days old and in 1100 – Preliminary Order Accepted. Order Type is SRE – Retail Sold. I placed this order through my dealer in August 2021. It is a 2022 2500 LTZ Duramax, Silver in color.
I have had very little success in getting information from my Dealer. They either do not have any information or are not willing to share with me what they know so I reached out to the Executive Office of General Motors and here is the email I received today.
Dear Mr. XXXX,
The Chevrolet Executive Office has received your request for assistance regarding your vehicle delay. General Motors has accepted your order and is awaiting production. There is no set date on when the vehicle will be available at this time. Your selling dealership will be able to assist you further on the delivery date as it becomes available.
Service Request Number XXXXXXXXXX was created to further assist you but as stated the selling dealership will have more information to assist in the matter. Please do not hesitate to call if you have any further questions.
My office hours are Monday through Friday 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM
Have a great day and thank you for being a valued Chevrolet customer.

My dealer did tell me last week my order has been moved to the 2023 Model Year.
Has anyone on the forum experienced what I am experiencing? If so, please share with me. I can get a similar truck in FL but will have to pay $5,000 over MSRP and my only choice is White with Black Interior.
Thanks in advance.
