Thanks for the info. I understand the VIN format identifies the world plant location with the first three digits.

GM has traditionally encoded the platform as the fourth character of the VIN. Other content includes an engine code and manufacturing plant. GM’s VIN format is as follows:

So I am not sure what you are referring to. I don’t have my new truck Vin but in this sample the first digit is 1 for USA and second digit is G for Fort Wayne. I know my 21 truck had a sticker on the door that says manufactured in Fort Wayne.
Digit eleven is for factory ID
The problem is I can’t seem to find a list of all the code designations for different plants.
