I put in an order for a 2022 Sierra 1500 SLT with 6.2 and 10 speed in December 2021. The dealer told me yesterday it was scheduled to be built this week. This is a Hendrick dealer and I’m thinking they have a good chance of getting early builds. With the 2022 refresh builds coming in still missing some features like AFM, heated seats/steering wheel, I’m thinking about giving up that 2022 if it comes in missing anything, then ordering a 2023 instead.
I and others have asked in another thread here about GMs plans for retrofitting on the trucks delivered with missing features, but have not heard/read anything about that. My dealer has told me that many of these features will not be routinely in from the factory until later in the fall of 2022, which is when 2023’s will be the order de jour.
