Also just learned, on GM build site, the 2500HD Custom base price has risen $1,200.00 since order was placed.
This will be added to the price upon delivery. I was told upon placing the order that it is possible the MSRP could change before the truck is delivered.
Upon delivery, or anytime before, I have the option to cancel and the dealer will return my deposit plus the agreed trade in value less any loan payoff.
I have the choice to accept delivery or not. It may be possible to negotiate with dealer at time of delivery but that depends on the dealer and your relationship with them. They have little incentive to deal in current market so I expect I will decide to absorb the $1,200.00 increase at delivery.
