Get a better dealer. All the ones around here will put you on an “internal dealer list” for an allocation. I put $1k down to “hold a spot in line” (I was 4th at my dealer) and about 5 weeks later, they called and said they had received their 4th allocation, and they ordered my vehicle. Not sure when it will get here, but they said it had been taking 12-14 weeks.
