I should preface this by saying that I haven’t dealt with the outlets on the Vsport specifically. But from my experience with turbocharged engines (like the 2.0T on the ATS), what has worked best is to use a non-scuffing/detailing steel wool to remove the stains from the tips, and then to protect/seal the tips using a chrome protectant like this one by Wenol:
