I don’t believe an aftermarket flash for Adaptive Cruise is possible, at least it’s not something I’ve heard of.
But if your Z71 has the HD Surround Vision option, it should be equipped with blindspot cameras as well. Open the “Camera” app from the home screen. Then tap the side view that shows the front tires that you mentioned, and then click that view again and it should switch to a rear facing camera that shows the blindspots of the vehicle on both sides.
