Put a deposit down on my Corvette in March 2019 and received a car in July 2020. It certainly is a long wait.
In order to help pass the time, since I had sold my 17 back in March 2019, I ended up picking up a Mercedes 550 SL, the hardtop convertible. What a completely fun car to have while passing the time!
I can tell you that the GM strike, the plant closing during Covid, and the parts supply issues have been a continual problem. You can also call the concierge’s line from General Motors and they can somewhat be helpful.
