Well I’ve traveled approx 650 miles on a trip following the installation of the 56 gallon Titan Furl Tank. Here are my observations regarding the accuracy of the fuel gauge and the DIC mpg obtained.
First of all the gauge accuracy isn’t accurate until it’s near the 1/2 tank mark. In my opinion I attribute this to the gauge staying on full for such a very long time (couple hundred miles).
The mpg accuracy is almost spot on, figuring just how much fuel was used and what I pumped into the tank.
So overall I’m still very pleased with the modification and I simple love the range especially when towing.
