After seeing the instructions you put up about how to silence the squeaks, I bought a $7 roll of woven cloth PET electric tape on Amazon Prime, and did the repair in my garage today. It took me 20 minutes or so. I took my Yukon for a test drive and the squeaks were gone…100% gone.:)
FYI, there was another place under the rear bumper behind the passenger side rear wheel where the emergency brake line is held up by metal hanger. I gave that area the same treatment too.
Thanks so much for replying to my post. The squeaks were driving me nuts for months.
