So is this a shudder like;
1.) driving over a railway track at certain speeds or is it
2.) that sudden downshift like seems the tranny fell out of the truck?
I had both, Alan Jay’s Chev dealership Garage in Sebring, Florida fixed the shudder by flushing out the Torque Convertor, cleaning it up (all day job) and told me to keep a watch on it for next 2 to 300 miles, it cured that BUT the shifting seems to be a bigger problem seems like the Trucks with the 6.2 Engine is more predominant in this problem. Mine is that type but as of late back in Canada seems to not be doing it, we returned end of March because of COVID-19 and border closures.
Usually on the sudden death downshift the garage reaction is “sorry cannot replicate” or “they all do that” my retort is “Fords dont do that”….LOL
Wish to hell I had my Allison Tranny back, it was absolutely GOLDEN!
