Reply To: 2019 Sliverado 6.2 liter using oil.

I have a 2017 Silverado LTZ 6.2L, drive it from NB to South Florida twice a year, 2000 miles each way, Turnpike driving speeds, use it both in NB and Florida, pulled a 26 foot Kodiak Travel Trailer for two years, sold the trailer, no problems with oil usage, 33,000 miles on it.
However the Tranny is something else, sometimes just slams into gear at low speeds….sometimes not, every dealer in NB and Florida says thats the way those transmissions act, had a Duramax with an Allison Tranny before, it was golden absolutely great, wished It was in this truck instead of this poor transmission.
Nope, no oil usage with mine.
