I bought my Acadia Denali in May 2017. In 2017 couldn’t get the horn to work by pressing on the steering wheel in the center where the horn symbol was.
I took it into the dealer and they said they replace the center section/air bag. I then tried again pressing on the symbol to blow the horn and it still didn’t work. I pressed on the area surrounding and away from the horn symbol and it worked. But it does take quite q bit of pressure pressing to blow the horn.
