It is my understanding a different torque converter and oil is now being used, my 2020 Denali transmission shifts so smooth you really have to be listening or the shifts will be missed. The 2017 Denali I traded never experienced any transmission difficulties p, it was sold while I was taking my junk out of it and the new owner has not had any problems when I last asked.
