Take it a dealer the very first time you notice any problem at all. This establishes the starting mileage of problem reporting, and should the problem be un-fixable like 8L90 and 8L45 transmission problems, when you get to the point of filing for buyback or vehicle replacement, this mileage point will be used in calculating the amount you get back or the amount you can apply to vehicle replacement.
