The tracking thread no longer works. You can try using myGMC.com, create an account (if you don’t already have one), then launch Chat. An option will appear to track a special order, select it and good luck. In rare instances you may be given a current event code, but usually they will refuse to provide any information. Then you’ll get a nasty phone call from GM stating to NOT use Chat for this purpose, and if you want any information you MUST go through the dealership that placed the order.
Our order took just over 5 weeks from placement to dealer receipt of the vehicle. The dealer then took 3 days to wash the vehicle and turn-off the transport mode. They also refused to replace a damaged front air dam from the careless loading/unloading on the big transport truck.
In any event good luck. GM has really turned into a-holes about it all. The massive middle-management layoffs probably have something to do with it.
