Still waiting on my “Senior Advisor” to contact me. Anytime I try to contact that person the phone just rings and rings and sometimes just drops. It never goes to voice mail. GM says that person tried to contact me and left me a voice. I have no missed calls and no voice mail from anyone at GM.

swebber99, thanks for the article mentioned above about the 2019 trucks. More proof GM knows they have a transmission problem. I also found articles about the 8 speed in the 2014-2015 Corvettes that had the same problems. Sounds like those owners were basically shafted.

I just got off the phone with the dealership and they asked if I could bring the truck back in to diagnose it some more. My response was basically no and I let them know that I am not upset with them. I am upset with GM and told them that when I bring it back in Gm should, in my opinion, replace the transmission with the updated torque converter or at a minimum replace my torque converter and valve body. Basically I am not bringing it back in to “try” this or that. That is a waste of my time and if GM cared about cost they could easily see it is a waste of money on their part not to mention all the wasted transmission fluid by repeatedly going into the transmission. You would think GM would want to be nicer to the environment.

Will post again when/if I get some feedback from GM.
