Let me be the FIRST to congratulate you on driving or owning your last GM vehicle.
I have 30k miles on my 2016 Sierra – 4×4 – 5.3 and “chinese-like quality” 8 spd tranny. While driving at low speeds, and when the gearbox changes gears, it give me the “GM-Wake up” jolt, as I now refer to this incident. I have given up on complaining, and now accept the fact that I have been ana–ly abused by GM on this purchase. When I purchased this truck, a kiss, or a nibble on the neck, from the GM salesman, would have made me feel a little better today.
I had thought I would have this truck to pass down to my great grand kids, but sadly, this will not be the case. I am now looking forward to my future truck go-to brand: Anything But GM.
