Looking at the order guides, the Universal Home Remote (RPO code UG1) is indeed removed when the Snow Plow Prep Package (YVU) is ordered. The same is true for the Power Rear Sliding Window (A48).
Now, I’m not sure that this is the actual reason, but I believe that the removal has something to do with the wiring for those features interfering with and/or being used to control the plow.
I’ll reach out to GM for official comment, but something tells me I won’t get an answer.
Would be nice if they can build a truck that does it all.
Regarding the emails: have you looked in your spam folder for the notification/reply emails?
