Surly,. My dealership did a transmission flush and replaced the valve body in the transmission itself. They then reprogrammed and updated the transmission. The truck has been shifting a lot better, I’m not saying it’s perfect, but it doesn’t jerk when I come to a stop anymore. When your on a hill it still has some banging issues, but that’s only when you slowly come up a hill then go to accelerate. It’s a problem that nothing is going to fix in my opinion. I just want everyone to know that I have a K&N cold air intake on my truck and that itself helped a lot with the hesitation issues. I called GM lemon law on my truck and got GM corporate involved and it forced the dealership to make moves. I have learned that you cannot rely only on the dealership text you have to have GM involved because they definitely want to make sure you have a good experience.
