Update on my 2016 GMC Sierra transmission problems:
I picked up my truck 2 days ago from my dealer. I had to wait 2 weeks for get the part for the truck. It was a new torque converter.
There were reportedly 2 versions of the converter. The first one was not working well, so they made a new one.
The part number installed in my truck is: 24286975 – Description: Converter 4.115
The “core return” part number is the same number as above.
I now have 19400 miles on the truck. If this does not fix the issue, i am going to research for a good lawyer to look at this case.
