I just bought a CPO 2015 Sierra Denali with 6.2L 8-speed that was having the shuddering issues at 2nd and 3rd gear. The shuddering was so bad at 45-50mph that the entire dash and steering column shook like it was possessed. Took it to a local dealership and they replaced the torque converter. The truck is no longer having the issue. Rebuilding the transmission is not going to fix the problem. Ask that they specifically check the codes for the torque converter.
