I am experiencing the same thing with my new 2000 mile truck. Its at dealership and the Service advisor, manager and tech all stated that there is an issue with what appears to be the gas pedal by wire system. They have driven my truck and a similar truck (the exact same truck) and found that the gas pedal is harder to push and that the shifting RPM is effected by it BUT GM is saying because theres no codes theres nothing wrong and is making them try all kinds of stuff except the 3 that makes sense, Re-flash entire PCM then reinstall the recall released on 8-14-2017 regarding the transmission. Doing this may reset the very reliable gas by wire system considering its either the computer, sensor or throttle body (only 3 items it can be)
Ive spoken to GM care and they are a joke, It is not the same GM from years ago that actually cared about what was being said, They try to push off or passify you in order to get you to give up.
