The short answer is that they are not making pizzas but cars (i.e. complicated machines with thousands of parts). 🙂
There is a bunch of reasons why a vehicle has been bayed, including quality control. That is one of the biggest reasons for a vehicle that’s been bayed for a while. In addition, there might be an issue with rail cars, getting a vehicle loaded onto the right one, etc.
