I have a 2016 Sierra that has had a shifting problem from day one. It doesn’t down shift unless you push the gas down half way fast. Then you have to be careful not to run over the car in front of you. I see a lot of complaints about the shaky shifting. I have a New problem. I was going about 30 mph approaching a stop sign and let off the gas. The transmission down shifted out of gear but not to the next gear. I could rev my engine it didn’t go into gear until I stopped put in in park and restarted the engine. This all took place in the middle of the street. If I was merging into high speed traffic on a freeway I could have got killed. I have took my complaint to General Motors because the dealership doesn’t know what their doing. If anyone else has had this happen us all push GM for a Recall before someone dies.
