The only thing we know for sure at this point is that it’s the fourth quarter of this year:
The issue is that dealers all over the country get these vehicles at different times based on allocation, order placement times, and delivery logistics. So, for instance, if your dealer orders one for you (and has enough allocation to do so within the GM system, meaning that it is “allowed” to order the vehicle based on its sales performance), then it can take about 4-8 weeks to get it to the dealership. Other factors can speed up or slow this process… like the options that are ordered on the truck and any quality issues at the factory.
All in all, it’s very tough to provide a definitive answer since there are so many variables involved.
The question I would be asking is whether the dealer has already placed orders for the 2017 Colorado for their own inventory. If so, they can track the orders and see the time frame to delivery that way.
