Hello–what engine and how many miles–typically misfires are caused by bad wires, plugs or coil packs.if the same cylinders keep misfiring, try swapping coil packs to see if the misfire moves to different cylinder, that will prove its a coil pack, you will need a scan reader to see which cylinders are misfiring.you can also find the misfiring cylinder by looking at the spark plugs removed, the misfired plug will be more fouled with carbon or wet with fuel.If the misfires are random each time you check with scanner than you could have a computer problem, there are driver circuits in the computer that control the coil packs and driver circuits for the injectors also.I have a 2012 1500 with a 525–36k miles, no misfires.one more way to tell which cels are misfiring is to use a timing light with induction pickup on each wire while engine runs,if light flashes its firing,no flash not firing.–good luck.
