This is an old thread, but I just got my 2016 CTS and CUE has been dramatically updated. It is faster and the graphic controls are better. I haven’t found any glitches while using my IPhone. The voice controls work well and the are much more intuitive. I have Car Play but I don’t see much advantage in using it so far. You have to use the cable rather than Bluetooth. If you don’t have imbedded navigation, then I can see how CarPlay will be a good advantage, but in general the graphics are not nearly as nice as the CUE graphics. If you are paired through Bluetooth you can use either the CUE voice controls or Siri if you hold the button down for a few seconds. The only minor irritation I have is that when using the touch screen, your hand can accidently hit the volume bar and disrupting what you were trying to do. I think they finally have the system to a point were it doesn’t have to be a deal breaker for many shoppers.
