I have a little over 4000 miles on my 2016 Sierra Denali. Have had transmission and acceleration issues almost from day one. After switching gas from Regular to Super Unleaded, the acceleration issue cleared up for the most part. However the transmission issue continues. When it shifts from first to second, it hits so hard, I feel like I have been hit by another vehicle. This happens when it down-shifts from second to first but not quite as often as when it goes from first to second. Have had it looked at by the the dealership where I bought the truck but they said they couldn’t find anything wrong with it. They wanted me to leave it overnight but could not find a vehicle to loan me. Haven’t heard anything from them in over a month. Have scheduled another appointment with them to see if they will actually do something about this. They did admit the first time around that they had a bulletin from GM about this issue but it was not yet a recall.
