2015 Denali 6.2 8 spd @ 50,000 miles and dealer has had it 1.5 months. hard shifts, downshift too soon, shutter at freeway speeds like running over rumble strips and I could go on but what is the point. Gm sold me a crappy bill of goods! Dealer told me at the first complaint at the 1st oil change that the transmission shifted hard and sounded like it has slack in it because it was learning my driving habits (what a load of crap but I believed him)! Next time I complained I was told clanking was because of the 4 speed and all the natural slack in the transfer case via the chain( again, what a load of steaming crap, I just put 350,000 mi. on a 2008 4 wheel dr so I know BS when I hear it)! I went today and talked personally with the mechanic who has had my pickup for the last month and half and told him he would make me a bigger enemy if he lied to me than to just tell me the truth. He came clean ( I think) ans said torque converter was on back order because the converters were giving them LOTS of problems so they switched suppliers and the new converters should be in any day. Probably different company name but same company owned by the same chinaman. Luckily my truck is one of the last ones covered by the 100,000 warranty. When and if I get this truck back, everytime the transmission even so much as hiccups it will be back on their front porch. They will be sick of me but they are giving me a new truck to drive and I have to turn it back in when I get 3,500 miles on it and trade for a new one! I’ve had three so far. Any one else have this problem? According to mechanic if you don’t, you will! 20014/20015 and first 2016
