@zippiev Thanks for that. I’d sum it all up as follows:
1. Make sure the device is saving contacts to the phone itself, rather than the SIM card.
2. Make sure that during the Bluetooth pairing process, you “check” the box on the phone to allow the vehicle to access phone book. This box usually is displayed after the pairing process has been initiated but before it completes.
