After four years on the market and 500,000 orders across Europe, Opel gives the Mokka subcompact crossover a mid-cycle enhancement (otherwise known as an MCE, facelift, or freshening) for the 2017 model year. The updates consist of enhancements to the exterior and interior, as well as new connectivity technology such as Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.
In addition, the small CUV gains the “X” moniker after its name to become the Opel Mokka X.

- New front fascia, including:
- Wing-shaped horizontal front grille
- Double wing signature LED daytime running lights
- Less plastic inserts
- Revised rear-end design, including:
- Signature double-wing tail lamps with available LED technology
