The GMC Yukon full-size SUV family is expected to receive several updates and changes for the 2017 model year. The updates will likely mirror those seen on the 2017 Chevrolet Suburban and 2017 Chevrolet Tahoe.
Following is speculative and unconfirmed information about the 2017 GMC Yukon. This page is a continuous work-in-progress and will be updated on a regular basis as we await official details from General Motors and GMC.
If you notice any inaccuracies about the information provided, have recommendations, or suggestions to share, please let us know here.
Following are our expectations of the 2017 GMC Yukon:
- Replacement of 6L80 6-speed automatic transmission with 8L90 8-speed automatic transmission on SLE and SLT trim levels
- New exterior colors
- Revisions to equipment groups and options
Note: it’s possible that the 2017 Yukon will receive a mid-cycle enhancement, also known as an MCE, refresh, or facelift. However, we don’t expect the Yukon MCE until the 2018 model year.
