2024 GMC Canyon Changes, Updates, New Features

The 2024 GMC Canyon receives a variety of small changes for the second model year of the third-generation pickup truck, headlined by the introduction of the AT4X AEV Edition package.

These changes follow the 2023 Canyon, which was the introductory year of the overhaul (redesign and re-engineering).

Model Line

• No changes

As a reminder, the 2024 GMC Canyon is offered as a mid-size pickup truck in the Crew Cab, Short Box configuration and in 2WD or 4WD across the following trim levels (product code in parentheses):

• Elevation (T4C43)
• AT4 (T4E43)
• AT4X (T4H43)
• Denali (T4F43)

Mechanical

• Addition of Multimatic Jounce Control Dampers (LPO RWF)
  • Included only with AT4X AEV Edition package (XEV)

Exterior

• No changes

Interior

• Deletion of 8-inch Driver Information Center (URO) / gauge cluster
  • 11-inch Driver Information Center (URF) is now standard on Elevation and AT4
    • For the 2023 model year, the 11-inch Driver Information Center was not available on Elevation and AT4, which were offered only with the 8-inch Driver Information Center

Driver Assist Technology

• Addition of Blind Zone Steering Assist with Trailering (UKW)
  • Availability
    • Available on Elevation and AT4 with Canyon Safety Plus Package (Y5W) when ProGrade Trailering System (ZL6) is ordered
      • Blind Zone Steering Assist (UKI) – without Trailering – is included on Elevation and AT4 trims when ProGrade Trailering System is not ordered
    • Standard on AT4X
    • Available on Denali when ProGrade Trailering System (ZL6) is ordered
    • Note: ProGrade Trailering Package also includes in-vehicle Trailering App and Trailering Package(ZL6) is ordered
• Addition of Rear Seat Belt Indicator (UH5)
  • Standard on all trim levels
