2025 GMC Acadia Updates, Changes and New Features

The 2025 GMC Acadia receives a variety of small changes for the second model year of the crossover’s third generation.

These changes follow the 2024 GMC Acadia, which received a complete overhaul (re-engineering and redesign) and launched the third-gen model.

Model Line

• No changes

As a reminder, the 2025 GMC Acadia is offered in the following trim levels:

Exterior

• Addition of two wheel options
  • 18-inch aluminum wheels (5PC)
    • Standard on Elevation, not available on any other trim
  • 22-inch bright aluminum wheels (LPO SAK)
    • Available only on Elevation and Denali
• Addition of various dealer-installed (LPO-level) options, including:
  • Black nameplate kit (LPO RIK)
  • Illuminated front GMC emblem (LPO RN2)
  • Illuminated perimeter rocker lighting (LPO S3I)
  • Molded assist step (LPO VQO)
  • Painted assist step (LPO VXW)
  • Illuminated door sills (LPO S0M)
  • Roof rack cross rails (LPO VLL)
  • Wheel locks (LPO SFE)
  • Wheel lug nuts (LPO SPY)
  • Lug nuts (LPO S47)
  • Bright wheel center cap with bright logo (LPO RXJ)
  • Removable Trailer hitch (LPO SDE)

Interior

• Addition of 8-passenger seating configuration (ABC)
• Addition of Rear Seat Reminder (RSR)
• Front passenger seat adopts two-way power lumbar adjuster (AT9) on Elevation (optional) and AT4 trims
  • For the 2024 model year, the Acadia featured four-way power lumbar adjustment across all trim levels
  • Availability:
    • Optional on Elevation with Elevation Premium Package
    • Standard on AT4
    • Denali continues with four-way power lumbar adjustment

Mechanical

• 170 Amp Alternator (KW7) is no longer available
  • For the 2024 model year, 170 Amp Alternator (KW7) was standard Elevation
  • For 2025, the 220 Amp Alternator (KW5) becomes standard across all trim levels

Driver Assist Technology

• Addition of Vehicle Health Management (VHM), which provides advanced warning of vehicle issues
  • Standard on all trims
• Deletion of three OnStar plans
  • 3 Years of OnStar Remote Access (PRF)
  • 3 Years of OnStar Premium Plan (R9M)
  • 3 Years of OnStar Remote Access deletion (R9L)

• Addition of Elevation Premium Package (GHI)
  • Content:
    • 7-Passenger seating configuration (ABE)
    • CoreTec seating (H7K)
    • 6-way power passenger seat adjuster (A7J)
    • Passenger power lumbar (AT9)
    • Mirror (DD8)
    • 20-inch aluminum wheel (Q76)
    • 20-inch tire (Q3N)
    • Universal Garage door opener (UG1)
  • Availability:
    • Available only on Elevation trim
• Addition of Adventure Package (LPO PCM)
  • Content:
    • 18-inch Gloss Black wheels (LPO EU2)
