2020 GMC Acadia Denali Changes, Updates, New Features

The 2020 GMC Acadia Denali receives a mid-cycle refresh, or mid-cycle enhancement (MCE) in GM speak, consisting of the following updates and changes:

Exterior

  • Redesigned front and rear fascias with standard LED lighting and signature GMC C-shape lighting
  • Addition of integrated LED turn signals for side mirrors
    • RPO code DYX replaces DR2
      • The power-folding and auto-dimming features are standard on Denali models
  • Addition of hands-free power liftgate with GMC logo projection
    • Standard on Denali models

 Interior

  • Redesigned center console with enhanced storage space
  • Addition of one interior color combination: Dark Galvanized with Light Shale
    • Exclusive Unique Denali interior color scheme with new, open-pore wood decor
  • Deletion of Cocoa with Shale interior color combination

Package Groups

  • Revised Technology Package includes:
    • HD Surround Vision
    • Adaptive Cruise Control – Advanced
    • Enhanced Automatic Emergency Braking
    • Rear Camera Mirror
    • Rear Camera Mirror Washer
    • Head-Up Display
    • Only available on Denali models
  • New Denali Ultimate Package includes the following:
    • Technology Package
    • Dual SkyScape 2-panel power sunroof
    • Adaptive Ride Control
    • Trailering Package
    • Only available for Denali AWD models

Mechanical Changes

  • New Electronic Precision Shift, which replaces the conventional shifter with an electronic control
  • New nine-speed transmission
    • Replaces six-speed transmission

LPO-level Changes

(LPO is a dealer-installed accessory produced by GM)

  • New Wireless Charging (5ZI) option
  • Keyless Entry Keypad (RDI)
