Overview
Little is currently know about the GM 2.0 liter turbo-diesel four-cylinder LSQ engine.
In February 2019, GM Authority was first to exclusively report that General Motors was developing a new diesel engine for its Cadillac division for Europe.
The engine was initially announced for the European-market Cadillac XT4, with very little supporting information, but GM did state that the engine was “developed exclusively for the European market”, that it is all-new, and that it will be Euro 6d-compatible.
In early 2020, GM Authority learned that GM has no plans to bring the engine to North America.
