The Chevrolet Trax receives a few minor changes and updates for the 2022 model year:
Interior
- Deletion of front passenger flat-folding seatback
- Addition of front passenger seatback map pocket
- Addition of outside temperature sensor
- Officially added late in the 2021 model year
- Addition of electric heater
- Officially added late in the 2021 model year
- Replaces conventional heater core system
Mechanical
- Turbo 1.4L LE2 I4 engine replaces Turbo 1.4L LUV EcoTec engine
- Officially changed late in the 2021 model year
- Engine block heater (K05) replaces oil pan heater (KPK)
- Officially changed late in the 2021 model year
