2017 Chevrolet Traverse Seats

The seats in the 2017 Chevrolet Traverse are designed for long-haul comfort and long-term wear.

The seats in the first and third rows are the same across all trim levels, with material (cloth vs. leather) and adjustment types (manual vs. power) being the primary differentiators. The second-row seats can be customized as a bench seat or as Captain’s Chairs (see Configurations section below).

Materials And Colors

The 2017 Chevy Traverse is available in four different color combinations and three seat trim materials.

Seat trim materials:

  • High-wear, stain-resistant cloth
  • Solid leather
  • Perforated leather (only on first and second rows)

Interior color combinations:

  • Ebony (Ebony seats with Ebony accents)
  • Ebony seats with Saddle Up accents

Configurations

The 2018 Chevrolet Traverse seats either seven or eight, depending on the two available seating configurations:

  • The 2-3-3 seating configuration seats eight and features a bench seat in the second row. It is assigned RPO code ABC.
  • The 2-2-3 seating configuration seats seven and features Captain’s Chairs in the second row. It is assigned RPO code ABB.

The bench seat as well as the Captain’s Chairs are capable of folding flat. Unlike the bench seat, the Captain’s Chairs are capable of folding individually from each another. The third row bench seat features 60/40 split-folding functionality.

Seat Cooling And Heating

Heated and cooled front seats are available on certain trim levels and packages.
