The 2020 Chevrolet Tahoe receives a few minor changes, representing the last model year of the fourth-generation Tahoe on the K2 platform.
Note: we initially expected the Tahoe to be overhauled (redesigned and re-engineered) for the 2020 model year, thereby introducing an all-new fifth-generation model. However, the redesign will take place for the 2021 model year instead. See more info on the 2021 Chevrolet Tahoe.

Platform
Like all fourth-generation units of the Chevrolet Tahoe, the 2020 Tahoe rides on the GM K2 platform shared with the 2020 Chevrolet Suburban, 2020 GMC Yukon and Yukon XL, as well as the 2020 Cadillac Escalade and Escalade ESV.
The same basic architecture was used on the 2014-2018 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 and GMC Sierra 1500. These models were also available for the 2019 model year as “Double Cab” versions while the all-new Silverado and Sierra were being launched on the T1 platform.
Production
The 2020 Chevrolet Tahoe continues to be assembled by GM USA at the GM Arlington plant in Arlington, Texas, USA.
Availability
The 2020 Chevy Tahoe followed the general GM model changeover sequence and launched in the third quarter of the 2019 calendar year.
Beyond 2020
The 2020 model year was the final year that the fourth-gen Chevy Tahoe was produced. The model will be replaced by the all-new 2021 Chevrolet Tahoe on the T1 platform.
